“Bowls of Intercession”, Joel 2, and the Gospel

There are untold millions of people on the planet today who are praying and crying out for God to pour out His Spirit like He promised He would in Joel chapter 2.
.
I am here to tell you that He has already done so.

Lots of folks sing songs about this stuff with lyrics like “Come like you promised…” and “Release the fullness!”
.
As if He somehow has been hiding this whole time? As if there is anywhere we can go without Him?

The apostle Peter said the following about Joel 2 in Acts 2:16-18:

“This (speaking of these supernatural things they were witnessing)
is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy. “

God did not scoop up his spirit back into heaven, pour it into a bowl, and now is sitting there waiting for people to pray enough to ‘fill the bowls of intercession’ so that He can finally, once again, pour out His spirit once the ‘bowls’ are filled with enough prayers that God finally decides He can answer.

The doctrine that is very common in the church today teaches the opposite.

It creates a mentality that God has been holding out on His people but that through their works (prayer, fasting, discipline, worship, etc.) they can somehow eventually convince God (as long as you get enough people doing so in large numbers) to answer once again.
.
The trouble is that doctrine (of the bowls of intercession) comes from a single verse, taken very much out of context.
.
Defining our lives and ministries around single verses rather than on Christ is extremely unhealthy and easily will lead people into religious deception.
.
One such verse that is commonly used to defend these practices is Revelation 5:8:

“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”

There is nothing anywhere about the bowls being poured out and that being equated with God pouring out His Spirit and finally deciding to answer His people.

Luke 12:32 says it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom.
.
Matthew 7:7 and John 14:14 says if we ask anything in the name of Jesus that He hears us and it will be given to us.
.
Jesus didn’t say “If you ask in my name, and as long as you keep asking enough to fill up the bowls of intercession, and get enough intercessors fasting and praying, I will answer.”
.
These mindsets keep people in a perpetual state of crying out and begging for God to:

1.) do something He already did through Christ
2.) do something He told us to do
3.) not do something He won’t do (like send judgment on a nation for sin) because of the new covenant through Christ’s blood

The Gospel is simple.
.
Jesus’ mission statement, from His own lips, was as follows:

“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,
BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,
AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,
TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,
TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.” – Luke 4:18-19

Preach the Good news to the poor (financially and spiritually).
.
Tell captives that they are free because of Christ.
.
Open the eyes of the blind (spiritually and physically).
.
Set the oppressed free (healing, deliverance, etc).
.
Proclaim God’s favor (He’s not angry. Sins are forgiven. Turn to Him.)
.
Our lives MUST be centered on Christ and what He said to do.
.
He told his followers to preach a certain type of message in Matthew 10:7-8:

“And as you go, preach THIS MESSAGE, saying, ‘Repent, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.”

There is absolutely nothing anywhere in the Gospels where Jesus instructed His followers that they must fast and pray and ‘cry out’ and ‘fill the bowls of intercession’ before they could see a city transformed.
.
The Gospels say absolutely nothing about needing to fast and pray and ‘cry out’ to ‘pierce the heavens’ or ‘push back the spiritual darkness over the region’ before ‘revival’ could break out.

.
The Gospels say absolutely nothing about needing to cast down principalities over cities before we go into them to bring the Good News.

Here’s a newsflash: light pushes back darkness.

Every time.

Darkness can’t even argue when you turn a light on.

The trouble is, we’ve got millions of people who have been taught to beg God to turn the light on when He already told you that you were the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).

Seems a lot of folks are putting their lamp that God already lit under a bowl (Matthew 5:15).

Pun intended? Maybe.

Joel chapter 2 and the outpouring of God’s Spirit has been fulfilled (Acts 2:16, 2:33) and now it is 100% the responsibility of the CHRISTIAN to do as Jesus instructed His disciples upon His resurrection and go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation with signs and wonders following (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20, John 20:21).

If this is contrary to what you have been taught, I’d highly encourage you to look into this for yourself.

If you’re someone who has been taught you must ‘cry out’ and do a whole lot of fasting and prayer (for an unspecified period of time) and especially those of you who have been doing it for years—I ask you this–how’s that working out for you?

Are you seeing the results that Jesus and the apostles saw? And more importantly, why are you doing things that have absolutely no Biblical backing in the life and ministry of Christ?

Ask hard questions of your leaders and those around you. Look into these things for yourself. You will see them to be true.

Be free.

It is Christ-in-you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27, Gal. 2:20, 1 Cor. 6:17).

He is not holding out on you. He has answered.

If He indeed does live inside of you, you have everything you need to be the answer to the prayers of the world around you.

It is finished.

I used to do all of this, folks.

I used to be the one crying out in the prayer rooms. I used to be the one repenting over and over for the sins of my nation pleading with God to pour out His Spirit. I used to call myself an ‘intercessory missionary’. I used to pray to ‘fill the bowls of intercession’. I know all the lingo, I’ve gone to all the meetings, I’ve rocked back and forth, I’ve travailed, I’ve cried, I’ve moaned, I’ve wept, I’ve prophesied a ‘future revival’…I’ve done it all.

Then I read the New Testament and found out that there is no such thing as a ‘coming revival’. I found out that God has already poured out His Spirit and that Christ has accomplished an amazing task by fulfilling God’s end of the ‘revival’ deal.

I found out that the Gospel really is good news and that God is no longer counting man’s sins against them (2 Cor. 5:19) and that He has forgiven the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).

I found out that Jesus never even once mentioned 95% of the stuff you hear in popular charismatic churches today and it all made sense why I wasn’t seeing things happen in my life or in my city. And now we are seeing things happen worldwide that would blow your mind to hear about.

The sick are healed, the dead are raised, demons are cast out, the Gospel is preached and souls are saved—and it is entirely dependent not on millions of people fasting and praying for God to “move” (He is not stuck)—it is dependent on the reality of the finished work of the New Covenant through Christ and the loving obedience of people just like you and me who are no more or less ‘anointed’ than anyone else (1 John 2:20, 1 John 2:27).

The deficiency was on my end—by not understanding what Christ had really accomplished on the cross.

So you get to decide.

Are you going to get offended because I ask the questions that everyone has but is too afraid to ask for fear of “dishonoring leaders” who aren’t really leading anybody anywhere except into more religious bondage?

Or are you going to actually look into this stuff for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all Truth and a revelation of the finished work of the cross and the New Covenant?

The choice is yours.

I only offer you the Truth–nothing more.

O Evangelho é simples.

And they have so much to share too on those 2 last days we had encounters outside walls healing people and bringing then to the Lord Jesus. Mathew 10:8
One this testimonies is on the streets of Santa Rosa were we approach some kids with skate board and they wearing shirt off heavy metal band with symbols of satanism ,well that is awesome because we saw opportunity and happen, one of the kid had his ankle hurt with scars and pain also they are high under some influence substance is visible ,well we start conversation about trick on skate and soon I told Him watch this laid my hand on His foot and declare all things new in Christ .
And stand up He look at my face and say “This is weird wow” my ankle my ankle is kindle hot and cold at same time and not pain what is this? I told Him is Jesus he touch you and love you so we talk little be and bus come he leave heal and touch by the lover well Holy spirit got Him .
Walking little be more watching around Andrew saw one blind lady without fear He approach of Her and ask for pray she let Him do for sure she got loved I believe healed too, I walking forward and looking the cops arresting two young man I walk close and not had opportunity to talk to them but when I come on the corner of the street I saw on other side of street one young man with boot on His foot we walk fast because is not lot time to approach is bus stop people go fast so we did .
When I come I talk to him ask what happen He say is broke practicing rugby I say watch this and ask to touch the boot he say yes and I declare again all things new in Christ , and turn my face to Him and ask did you feel He say yes kindle tingle and pain left also He can’t feel the screws metal on His ankle lol . I told He watch this, I take my hand and spoke all the way thanks Father. He just say wow increase I ask if I can record He give permission, so you going see here on the video what happen after that I talk to Him and He got touch by the Holy Spirit all over His body such joy .

Well he catch the bus and we walk more and saw one man Homeless with 2 cane we ask for prey He let us pray saying is broke cannot fix and for some reason we try 3 times and not saw instantly result His leg grow and I believe he is healed according the Bible believers lay hands and they recovery. Mark 16;18
Well after that we went to the mall were another’s got healed too we finish our night on wall mart were some got healed too Jesus win all the time
Well next day the last day after lunch we they leave I drove then to Vallejo about 1hour from my home is other city and meet with His friends on the gas station close to six flags park were have convenience store and burger place ,there another encounter with one of they friends one lady
Our Father give me word of knowledge about sinus infection on Her and is truth she let me heal her
After that I got more words about business and pray for the situation with Her accurate words praise God.
Walk back on other store to buy ice cream the employer is from India and follow buddhism Andrew and me talking to Him another word of knowledge about His back accurate He let me pray and got healed I give Him one Bible new testament Andrew evangelize Him .
I turn back to come at my car there is two young girls inside of the store one of them is daughter of that
Lady I pray before but she not saw me before she look at me with bad face because I wearing my shirt and sign on my shirt is “stop go to church “ in the front but on the back of the shirt say “Be “ you can have that and others on www.ReformationThreads.com so she walk way to her mom and I did to they are close to my car .She start ask who is me because she saw I hold the man inside of the store ,(That got healed) lol .
I come and introduce myself she say ufff and change the face I explain the shirt and ask Her friend if She want be taller She say yes I got one camping chair i caring on my car and then i ask she to sit and i check the linked of her legs is even and i comamnd one leg to grow Her leg grow about 3 inches one leg and the other girl almost freak out so I grow the other leg , and ask her if she have back pain she say not ,but Her Mom say yes well I check the link of Her leg to and one is short I cal Her friend and she did lol when she stand I ask Her if I can touch her shoulder and hold her hand she say yes I cal fire and she say “wow’
My back my back lol, I say is ok and I got word about bad dreams she have she say is truth I command that to stop and speak and prophecy over her also I got word about paint and she just start do Gos I great .
After that they leave Mom and girls we stay little be there and the mom text back the girls is in fire inside the car with the legit experience with God Jesus win .
Look around there is one lady there homeless I walk on her direction I had pray for Her before after talk I ask if she want be free She say yes I believe some demons just got out there Jesus win again

Anda,os pouco mais olhando ao redor Andrew viu uma senhora cega, sem medo Ele abordagem e pediu que ela deixasse orar que Ele fez, com certeza ela ficou curada e amada por Jesus Eu acredito também, e andamos para a frente e vimos a polícia prender dois jovens andamos perto e não tivemos oportunidade de conversar com eles, mas quando eu chegamos na esquina da rua eu vi no outro lado da rua um homem jovem, com uma bota em seu pé ( E como Um Gesso e uma Bota Plastica) andamos rápido, porque não tinhamos muito tempo para abordagem. é que estavamos no ponto ou parada de onibus tinhamos que ir mais rápido para que possamos agir.
Comecei eu a falar com ele perguntei o que aconteceu Ele disse que quebrou o pe ao praticar rugby. Disse a Ele olha isto e pedi para tocar na bota ele diz que sim e eu declarei novamente novas todas as coisas em Cristo, e virei o meu rosto para ele e perguntei que você sentiu? Ela caminhou para sua mãe e eu fui na direcao deles estavão perto de meu carro. Ela começar a perguntar quem é porque ela me viu eu segurar a mao o homem no interior da loja, (que foi curado ) lol.

Ela disse sim, eu tenho no meu carro uma cadeira de camping a peguei e pedi que Ela sentasse ela viu uma das pernas dela crescer com 3 polegadas depois a outra perna e a outra menina quase ficou louca com o que estava presenciando, perguntei se ela tinha dor nas costas, ela disse nao, mas Sua mãe disse que sim bem eu pedi para verificar a diferenca de uma perna para outra, e uma de suas pernas era mais curta eu cahmei Sua amiga que tembem e Crente e ela fez a perna da amiga crescer lol apos isto prguntei a ela se eu podia tocar seu ombro e segurar a mão dela ela disse sim, eu declarei fogo e ela diz "wow"
Minhas costas minhas costas esta quente lol eu disse tudo bem e tive uma palavra sobre sonhos ruins que ela tinha e ela confrirmou que é verdade, eu ordenei que parasse e profetizei também eu tive palavra sobre a pintura e ela confirmou que começar a fazer pinturas Deus eu grande.

Going after …. This last week become interesting week I had brothers visiting me they traveling the world and seeing different ministers how they releasing the kingdom of heaven on the earth
So we had great experiences on the first day we been at wall mart of Santa Rosa and have encounters with people and lead then to encounters with Lord bringing healing and power and love to then .
On during the week we reach the streets and stores with awesome experiences also on market fair
Were lot people come different ministries is there and different stuff to very interesting we have acceptance from some rejected for others and conversation with good number of people releasing the Kingdom ,
Interesting Healings happen like lady stand up of her wheel chair , one girl got healed of her knee and walk without crutches ,they trying to see what she have and not found for 9 months so Jesus win .
Also talking to others on the tent displaying what they church offer we meet two girls and on lady and pray for then they got healed right there on front the leaders of the Church , were they invite us to visit they church and share with then that is funny they got surprised on see what they just have read on the Bible happen on front of they eyes for real ,bless is those receive humble the love of God because they see the greater works manifest .
So we stay on streets till night and come back home have bbq time on back area known more about each other this brothers Andrew Bennett and J D Russel carring amazing baggage experience of traveling on the world to me I had awesome time and learning how interact with different ministers even if I am not agree on what they doing .
Well good time on next morning we take time to rest and afternoon we driving to have encounter with another ministry on the city and we saw like rock concert on front one school so we stop and wait for opportunity and happen when they open the microphone J D went there and announce they are travelling the world and we are on corner table doing spiritual alignment if and healings if anyone want come we are there , so that is not rock concert only but sounds protest stuff with they mocking everyone so we waiting nobody come so the time to us go and meet the other ministries come we leave , when we walking to the car direction I got word of knowledge and I talking with two kids and one girl and one is the guy need be healed of his knee so that happen and he freak little be when I say Jesus heal him , so he got very impressed and got my phone number we going hung out latter Jesus win . So after that we come to meet the Raven Ministries they going on worse place of the city like really dangerous given food ,close , and preaching the gospel I had opportunity of translate the preacher to Spanish we had some people come to the Lord heal others Andrew and J D interact with kids and we gave food ,close , Bible and hope for then Jesus win Mathew 10;8
Back in home late next day afternoon we come to skate park and have amazing encounter with teenagers there they doing drugs on open air field helooo were the police or were the Christians of the city ,that make really mad because I talking about kids dyeing on the hands of the enemy just because don’t know the Lord ,is sad and real that is one reason I keep saying stop go to the church only ,and start be the church your praying meetings not saving this kids they waiting for you manifest . The gospel is to be preach and demonstrate not to put on the box , after that we come to service conference at Vertical Call church when Jamie Galloway speaking He bringing good message on this 2 days there on new covenant what is good and how we can be interact with spiritual realm true Jesus and how is legal for us walk in that power . People there I just watching and we come home after that. So what he preach we just did on skate park looks familiar for us what he preach but more real because we practice that on the field After the conference we drive at streets of City looking for prostitutes to reach ,not successful looks like they hiding ,so we decide go at bars Andrew and J D approach to some people there I just watching and we come home after that .
So have being interesting week I laid down my work to that and I feeling great and realized so today is Sunday we going after streets again and not agenda to that let see what happen God is good and we walking on Jesus Victory .

In Christianity, the term refers to spiritual conversion. The word appears often in the Gospels. It is usually translated into English as "repent":

In theology, metanoia is used to refer to the change of mind which is brought about in repentance. Repentance is necessary and valuable because it brings about change of mind or metanoia. This change of mind will result in the altered persona deprecating sin, though replicating good will, benevolence, and integration of self in relation to Universal harmony or deity. The two terms (repentance and metanoia) are often used interchangeably.

However, the prefix "meta-" carries with it other variants that are consistent with the Eastern Greek philosophical mindset, and perhaps is at odds with Western views. "Meta-" is additionally used to imply "beyond" and "outside of." E.g., metamorphosis as a beyond-change; and, metaphysics as outside the limits of physics. "Meta" also means "next to"or "after" as in metaphysics, where the books we call metaphysics were placed next to or after the books on physics.

The Greek term for repentance, metanoia, denotes a change of mind, a reorientation, a fundamental transformation of outlook, of an individual's vision of the world and of her/himself, and a new way of loving others and the Universe. In the words of a second-century text, The Shepherd of Hermas, it implies "great understanding," discernment. It involves, that is, not mere regret of past evil but a recognition by a person of a darkened vision of her/his own condition, in which sin, by separating her/him from Deity, has reduced her/him to a divided, autonomous existence, depriving her/him of both her/his natural glory and freedom. "Repentance," says Basil the Great, "is salvation, but lack of understanding is the death of repentance." Repentance thereby acquires a different dimension to mere dwelling on human sinfulness, and becomes the realization of human insufficiency and limitation. Repentance then should not be accompanied by a paroxysm of guilt but by an awareness of one's estrangement from Deity and one's neighbor.[1]

To repent does not mean what most people think it means. It means to change the way you think..which will thus change one’s actions.

“Repent” is likely the most misunderstood word in the Bible today. A misunderstanding of this word can and does change the true Gospel of Christ. It is used many times in the Bible and a misunderstanding of it will alter the meaning of any passage of scripture where it is used.

First of all let’s understand what it does not mean so that we can grasp the true meaning.

It does not mean to turn away from sin.
It does not mean to quit sinning.
It does not mean to feel sorry for sin.
It does not mean to change your sinful ways before you can be saved.
It does not imply salvation.
It is not the means of forgiveness of sin.
It is not salvation nor does it imply that we should live a sinless life.
It does not imply sin.

To understand its true meaning lets do a bit of history of the Greek language.

There have been many types of Greek in the past most of which are obsolete now but in the days of Alexander the Great a number of Greek languages existed. After Alexander had conquered the known world around 300 BC he had a problem communicating with the many Greeks under his rule. Rather than learn all of the different types of Greek himself Alexander invented a Greek language called “coine” or common Greek. It was common in that all of the Greek speaking world would be required to learn it in order to resolve the communication problem.

This new Greek language was very precise and mathematical in its precision. Every word had a four fold navigational fix. A word could have only one meaning. It could have several applications but only one interpretation. In English, words can have several meanings but not in the coine (pronounced coin-a) Greek. It was one word, one meaning. In other words, there was no doubt about what was being said in this language. Eventually, this language became the dominate language of the New Testament.

If you have looked up “repent” in your handy Bible dictionary you will likely discover that it gives a definition of everything that I said repent is not. Why is this? Dictionaries get their definitions of words from its common usage. Religions and denominations have distorted the gospel for many years and therefore the word repent as well. In other words the writers of a dictionary get the meaning from different religious organizations and give several different meanings of the word in their publication without regards to the original language that it was translated from.

Compound words were very common in the coine Greek and this brings us to our subject

In the New Testament there are two different Greek words which have been translated repent. The word repent is an English word. It is an obsolete old English word and means nothing to us today. It was not even used in the Bible until the King James Bible came along in 1611. It was translated from the compound Greek words Metanoeo and Metamellamai. These two words have completely different meanings and remember in the coine Greek a word can have only one meaning so how can anyone give one definition or numerous definitions to the word repent? There must be two and only two definitions for repent.

1. Metanoeo. This is a compound word. “Meta” means change “noeo” means thinking. This word is derived from “nous” which means mind. So, metanoeo means to “change your mind”

2. Metamellamai. This is also a compound word. “Meta” means change
“mellamai” means emotions. It means to have a “change of emotions”.



Some brilliant mind somewhere along the way added “of sin” to repent and came up with the moronic phrase “repent of your sins” and someone else added “and be saved” and came up with “repent of your sins and be saved.” This is a false gospel because it leaves out two things. Faith and Jesus Christ. People who use the phrase “repent of your sins as a condition preceding salvation or as forgiveness of sin are either ignorant or are intentionally teaching a false gospel. Anywhere metanoeo is translated repent you can substitute “change your mind” and the verse will make sense. If you are thinking “of sins” after you see repent the whole gospel message shifts from accepting the free gift of God to something you have to do as a condition of salvation.

In 2 Corinthians 7 the word metanoeo is used in verse 9 and 10. Read verse 10 carefully. “For Godly sorry WORKETH repentance (metanoeo a change of mind) to salvation”…

Notice that “Godly sorry” is not repentance but rather it works to repentance. In other words a person can become sorrowful of his sinful ways and then repent (change his mind about Christ.) Jesus Christ is always the object of salvation not turning away, refraining, quitting or whatever of sin. In Mark 1:15 Jesus said speaking to unbelievers in Galilee “Repent (metanoeo change your mind) and believe the Gospel.” It tells us right here what we are to change our mind about. The Gospel, not our sins. He was speaking to unbelievers who did not believe the gospel. We are condemned because of unbelief not because of our sins:

John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already BECAUSE he has not believed in the name of the uniquely born Son of God.”

Since we are condemned because of unbelief does it not follow that we should turn from our unbelieving mind and not our sins? We are not condemned because of sin. Sins were forgiven the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ (2 Cor. 5:19, Hebrews 10, 1 John2 :2). Changing your mind about Christ is repenting which will lead to salvation.

In Matthew 3:2 John was preaching to unbelievers in the wilderness of Judaea and said “Repent ye: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” If Repent means turn from your sin or feel sorry for your sins John was remiss in his preaching because he failed to mention Jesus Christ and faith. We know from the above verse (John 3:1 that John teaches that believing is salvation and not believing is condemnation. So we can conclude that John was telling the people of Judaea to change their unbelieving mind and believe in Christ thus establishing his meaning of repenting. We have already seen that metanoeo does not indicate sin and sin is not found anywhere in this passage.

Repentance is the act of changing your mind about something. Not necessarily sin or not necessarily anything. So, how do we know what to change our mind about? What we change our mind about is determined by the subject of the passage. For example: We find in the next verse (Matthew 3:3) that the subject is the Lord. “Prepare ye the way of the Lord” In other words John was saying change your unbelieving mind because the Kingdom of Heaven is coming and be prepared for the Lord. John was preaching the gospel and not about sin. So, the subject is the Lord and not sin.

Whenever metamellamai (change emotions) is translated repent it is simply telling us that someone became sorrowful of something he had done. Judas became sorrowful about betraying Jesus in Matthew 27:3 to the extent that he hanged himself. It does not mean that we will be saved if we feel sorry for our sin.

“Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself (metaamellamai, changed emotions) and brought again (returned) the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said, what is that to us? See thou to that. (that is your own business.)

Judas was never saved (Acts 5:37) although he repented of his sin and confessed his sin. Judas was simply sorry that he was responsible for sending an innocent man to his death.

When someone tries to add “repenting of sin” or emotionalism to the free gift of God he is saying that what Jesus Christ did for us is not enough. We cannot do anything about our sin. This is why Jesus Christ had to die on the cross as a substitute for us;

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

Repenting of sins is a human work as is becoming emotional. Works will not save us because the payment for sin is (spiritual) death. Works are not spiritual death therefore it is not salvation.

If all you have done is to repent of your sins you are not saved. Salvation comes by faith in Christ alone. Believing is a non-meritorious act and requires nothing of us except a change of mind.

Para entender seu verdadeiro significado permite fazer um pouco de história da língua grega.

Tem havido muitos tipos de grego na maioria dos últimos dos quais são obsoletos agora, mas nos dias de Alexandre, o um grande número de línguas grega existiu. Alguma mente brilhante em algum lugar ao longo do caminho acrescentado "do pecado" arrepender-se e veio com a imbecil frase "arrepender dos seus pecados", e alguém acrescentou: "e ser salvos" e veio com "se arrepender de seus pecados e ser salvos." Este é um falso evangelho, porque deixa de fora duas coisas. Fé e Jesus Cristo. Pessoas que usam a frase se arrepender "de seus pecados como uma salvação condição anterior ou como perdão dos pecados ou são ignorantes ou são intencionalmente ensinando um falso evangelho. O Evangelho não, os nossos pecados. Ele estava falando para os incrédulos que não acreditam no evangelho. Estamos condenados por causa da incredulidade não por causa de nossos pecados:

João 3:18 "Quem crê nele não é condenado, mas quem não crer já está condenado porque não crê no nome do Filho único nascido de Deus."

Uma vez que estamos condenados por causa da incredulidade não se segue que devemos sair da nossa mente incrédula e não os nossos pecados? Não estamos condenados por causa do pecado. Pecados foram perdoados de uma vez por todas, o sacrifício de Cristo (2 Cor 5:19, Hebreus 10, 1 John2:. 2). Mudando sua mente a respeito de Cristo é arrependimento o que levará à salvação.

Em Mateus 3:02 João estava pregando para os incrédulos no deserto da Judéia e disse: "Arrependei-vos:. Para o reino dos Céus está próximo" Se significa Arrependei-vos abandonar seu pecado ou sentir pena por seus pecados John foi negligente na sua pregação porque ele deixou de mencionar Jesus Cristo e da fé. Sabemos que a partir do versículo acima (João 3:1 que João ensina que a salvação é acreditar e não acreditar que é a condenação. Assim, podemos concluir que João estava dizendo ao povo da Judéia para mudar sua mente incrédula e crêem em Cristo, assim, estabelecer seu significado de arrependendo. Nós já vimos que metanoeo não indica o pecado eo pecado não é encontrado em qualquer lugar desta passagem.

Arrependimento é o ato de mudar de idéia sobre alguma coisa. Não necessariamente pecado ou não necessariamente qualquer coisa. Então, como é que sabemos o que mudar nossa mente sobre? O que mudar a nossa mente sobre é determinada pelo sujeito da passagem. Por exemplo: Nós encontramos no versículo seguinte (Mateus 3:3) que o assunto é o Senhor. "Preparai o caminho do Senhor" Em outras palavras John estava dizendo mudar sua mente incrédula, porque o Reino dos Céus está chegando e estar preparado para o Senhor. John estava pregando o evangelho e não sobre o pecado. Então, o assunto é o Senhor e não o pecado.

Sempre que metamellamai (emoções mudança) é traduzida arrepender é simplesmente dizer-nos que alguém ficasse triste de algo que ele tinha feito. Judas tornou-se triste por trair Jesus em Mateus 27:3 na medida em que ele se enforcou. Isso não significa que seremos salvos se sentir pena pelos nossos pecados.

"Então Judas, que o traíra, vendo que ele foi condenado, arrependeu-se (metaamellamai, emoções alteradas) e trouxe novamente (devolvido) as trinta moedas de prata aos sumos sacerdotes e anciãos, dizendo: Pequei, que Eu tenho traído sangue inocente. E eles disseram, o que é isso para nós? Isso é contigo. (Que é o seu próprio negócio.)

Judas nunca foi salvo (Atos 05:37), embora ele se arrependeu de seu pecado e confessou o seu pecado. Judas era simplesmente triste por ter sido responsável pelo envio de um homem inocente à morte.

Quando alguém tenta adicionar "arrepender-se do pecado" emocionalismo ou o dom gratuito de Deus, ele está dizendo que o que Jesus Cristo fez por nós não é suficiente. Nós não podemos fazer nada sobre o nosso pecado. É por isso que Jesus Cristo teve que morrer na cruz como um substituto para nós;

"O salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor." (Romanos 6:23)

Arrepender-se dos pecados é uma obra humana, como está se tornando emocional. Obras não vai nos salvar porque o pagamento pelo pecado é (espiritual) a morte. Obras não são a morte espiritual, portanto, não é a salvação.

Se tudo que você tem feito é se arrepender dos seus pecados que não são salvos. A salvação vem pela fé em Cristo. Crer é um ato não-meritório e não exige nada de nós, exceto uma mudança de mente.

"E por ele todos os que crêem são justificados de todas as coisas, de que não pudestes ser justificados pela lei de Moisés" (Atos 13:39)

"Dificilmente um homem justo, alguém morreria: Ainda porventura para um homem bom alguém ouse morrer. Mas Deus prova o seu amor para conosco, em que, quando éramos ainda pecadores, Cristo morreu (como substituto) para nós. Muito mais agora, sendo justificados pelo seu sangue (morte sacrificial) seremos salvos da ira por meio dele. (Romanos 5:7-9)

"Que se tu confessar com a tua boca o Senhor Jesus, e creres no teu coração que Deus o ressuscitou dentre os ás, mortos, será salvo. Porque com o coração se crê para justiça e com a boca se faz confissão para a salvação. (Romanos 10:9-10).

I am not against the church, I believe the church is the bride of Christ also I believe the church is not The building too.
I believe we are the church, and I believe we need come together and fellowship grow and live like family, not matter your denomination is one God One Spirit and He is alive in us not to be on the box, but to go out the box.
Well when you go out the box the first problem you encounter I talking about here where I live in USA.
Are people hurting by the religion system and walls blocking to then receive what we "Christians’ have to share, why? Maybe because on years some have pushing religion without know the loving God, well
How can we Christian’s ambassadors of Christ on earth represent of Heaven here need be to reverse this?
This is what I looking for to not be the religious condemn person but the image of my King and walk in Him ,yes I am on way I not walking on the fullness of Him ye but I am on way and He not hold anything to empower me to walk on that .How much i got is other story.

I wrote talking about the church behind because some saying just because I do home church and I go to 2 or 3 different congregations sounds I fighting with church to then , I just want then know I love the church and we are the church I just not want limit what God doing, I listen Him and I am lead by His Spirit what I doing is biblical and is by Him in me John 15. I not agree with what some church teaching, is truth what i saying , because they not teaching the word of God because that I not want fellowship there. I am not judging then I judging what they teach ,is Biblical . Hebrews 13 that not means i an better of then i can make mistakes too.Our identity is only in Christ not on our works,If we are successful or fail we stay on the justice of God in Christ, means the scriptures is what bring truth, if we have that why walk off ?
And that not change my love to then I love then and I pray to they come on place to see the fullness of God in Christ and understand they are those need manifest this here on heart with divine love. Christ in you is hope of Glory !!!!!

Eu não sou contra a igreja, creio que a igreja é a noiva de Cristo, creio que a igreja não é o edifício também.
Eu acredito que nós somos a igreja, e eu acredito que precisamos se unir em comunhão crescer e viver como família, não importa a sua denominação é um Deus único Espírito, e Ele está vivo em nós,e não pode ser posto em uma caixa, mas para ir para fora da caixa .Quero dizer nao somente onde estamos no domingo mas mover 24 horas em qualquer lugar.
Bem, quando você sai da caixa, o primeiro problema que encontro, (estou falando aqui onde moro nos EUA).
São pessoas feridas pelo sistema de religião e criam paredes de bloqueio, e então nao querem receber o que nós "cristãos" temos para compartilhar boas novas, por quê? Talvez porque em alguns anos estivemos falo Cristoes, empurrando a religião sem conhecer o nosso Deus que e Amor. Bom,como podemos fazer sendo embaixadores de Cristo na terra, representando Céu aqui,e ser efetivo em reverter isso?
É isso que eu estou procurando, não ser a pessoa religiosa trazendo condenacao,ser imagem do meu Rei e andar Nele, sim, eu estou no caminho eu não ando na completa plenitude dele ainda , mas estou no caminho de gloria em gloria e Ele não me deixou sem nada para me equipar para isto o quanto eu ja agarrei e de gloria em gloria.
Quem precisa mudar? Eu, como? Olhando para Ele Cristo é a imagem do Deus incarnado e manifestar sobre Ele ler Colossenses e Romanos 8
Ele é o perfeito o Alfa eo Omega, e Ele vive em nós, cristãos pelo Espírito Santo também não pode lutar apenas dentro das paredes, mas no entanto, ir, porque Ele está vivo dentro de nós e nunca nos deixa ou abandona Hebrews 13.
Eu escrevi falando sobre a igreja versos atrás porque alguns andam dizendo só porque eu faço igreja em casa grupos e eu vou para 2 ou 3 congregações diferentes. Pensam que eu estou lutando contra a igreja, para estas pessoas eu gostaria de dizer e faze las saber que eu amo a igreja e nós somos a igreja. O que eu simplesmente não quero e limitar o que Deus está fazendo, eu o ouco e estou sendo conduzido pelo Seu Espírito que estou fazendo é bíblico e é por Ele em mim João 15. Eu não concordo com o que algumas igrejas ensinam e nao prego divisao, é verdade o que estou falando, porque não ensinam a palavra de Deus,por isto nao tenho e nao quero ter eu comunhão nestes lugares . Eu não estou julgando eles , estou eu a julgar o que eles ensinam, é bíblico. Hebreus 13 nao quer dizer que sou melhor que ninguem tambem posso cometer erros. Nossa identidade está só em Cristo e não nas nossas obras.Se
nós somos bem sucedidos ou falhamos,nós permanecemos na justiça de
Deus em Cristo.quer dizer que as escrituras e quem prevalece.se nos temos ela porque andar fora ?
E isto não vem alterar o meu amor por eles continuo amando eles sao irmaos em Cristo , em seguida, eu oro para eles para que possam ver a plenitude de Deus em Cristo e entender que eles são aqueles que seria suposto manifestar isto aqui com o amor divino. Cristo em vós é a esperança da Glória !!!!!
